In the "Find" dialog you can enter some text into the field and then search the database for any appearance of that text.
You can switch on/off case sensitivness by checking/unchecking the checkbox.

You can search for the text within both textfields of each dataset or only a specific one.
For descriptions you can either choose "Description" or "PPL".
For pickpocket-items you can either choose "short text" or "long text".

Once a search text has been entered, one can use the "find next" button (or F3) to jump to the next appearance of the search text
